Fenlands

This series of ink paintings were inspired by a road trip to The Fens of Norfolk stopping at various villages of Friday Bridge, Outwell, Upwell and Thorne Dyke. This vast ‘Manscape’ has a wild haunting presence, with its bleakness, vast open skies and flat marshland, which is divided by channels creating strong lines dissecting the landscape.
