Living amongst boats has really opened my eyes to their charm , from the elegance of sailings boats gliding peacefully down the river, to the chaos of boatyards and fishing boats with all their brightly coloured fenders. The sounds of boats creaking and masts tinkering is at the same time haunting yet comforting.
